The current generation is manufactured by Rugerand is based on the classic Marlin 1894 systemwith a side ejection port, a solid steel receiver, and a tubular magazine. The side ejection port allows optics to be mounted directly above the receiverwithout affecting the weapon's function.

The equipment is complemented by an adjustable ghost ring sightand a fiber optic front sight with a tritium ring, allowing the rifle to be used with both open sights and optics.

The receiver, barrel, and other essential components are made of stainless steel with a polished stainless steel finish. The gray laminated wood stockcombines classic aestheticswith high dimensional stability and weather resistance. The checkering on the stock and forend supports secure handling. A large Big-Loop leverfacilitates operation, especially when wearing gloves.

The tubular magazine offers a capacity of 8 roundsin .357 Magnum. The weapon features the classic half-cock hammer positionand an additional cross-bolt safety.
