Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Short

The Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 PM II Ultra Shortcombines a versatile 3- to 20-power magnification rangewith an exceptionally compact design. With a length of only 343 mm, the riflescope offers a lot of optical performance in a limited space, making it particularly suitable for systems where additional optical or night vision technology is to be used.

The large field of view from 12.98 to 2.1 m at 100 m, a transmission of 90%, and an exit pupil of up to 11.4 mm support a clear and well-arranged image display across the entire magnification range. The reticle is located in the first focal plane (FFP)and changes its size according to the set magnification.

Developed for demanding operational conditions

The design of the PM II Ultra Short is built for high mechanical stress. Schmidt & Bender states that the riflescope has been tested in a firing simulator with more than 30,000 shotsand accelerations of several thousand g. The specified operating temperature range extends from -46 °C to +63 °C, and water resistance is specified up to 3 meters.

The model has been used, among others, in the US Army's CSASS programand is also used by other military and police users, according to the manufacturer.
