The Steyr ATC Rock 6" in 9 mm Luger caliberis a pistolconsistently designed for sporting use, especially for dynamic shooting disciplines, particularly in the areas of IPSCand precision shooting. It combines a well-thought-out ergonomic designwith robust constructionand modular customization options, targeting ambitious sport shooterswith high demands for function and handling.

A defining characteristic of the ATC Rock 6"is its heavy stainless steel frame, which contributes to increased stabilityand reduces muzzle rise during firing. In conjunction with the 6-inch heavy-match barrel (153 mm), which is cold-hammered, this results in a long sight radiusand stable firing behavior, which can positively impact controland target acquisition, especially in sporting applications. The combination of barrel, slide, and frameis designed for balanced handling.

The SAO (Single Action Only) trigger systemwith a trigger pull of approx. 14 N (±3)allows for a defined trigger feel, as required in sporting applications. This is complemented by the Optic Ready (OR) configurationwith a prepared interface area for red dot sightsand LPA sport sights with a fiber front sight, allowing both classicand modern sighting systemsto be used.

The pistol features a variety of practice-oriented equipment features. These include a skeletonized slidefor weight optimization, an ambidextrous magazine release button, and an ambidextrous manual safety, which allows for flexible operation for both right- and left-handed shooters. The ergonomic grip panels made of 3D-printed PA12support a secure grip, while the Easy-Click Sport-Jetfunnel (long)facilitates fast magazine changes in competitive use.
